These are very strong, very salty candies. The texture is soft, though not nearly as soft as the salt fish. These are a bit tough, but they last for quite a long time. They are not as sweet as some of the more mild licorice candies. They're a bit strong for my tastes, but they're growing on me. Goes well with a bit of vodka.
